DDLJ completed 700 weeks

The biggest blockbuster of indian cinema ever 'Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge' is completing its 700 weeks at 19 march. It was released on 20 october 1995 and running untill today in mumbai's Maratha Mandir.
Aditya Chopra started his direction career by this movie and it was the biggest success of Yashraj banner ever.
It is a romantic movie mostly picturised in europe. The actor duo Shahrukh and Kajol got millions appreciation for their performances in the movie. The music in the movie was super-duper hit and it has been the best romantic movie in hindi cinema since its release.

However Expectations are high as he did not directed any of Yashraj film after the mindblowing success of DDLJ and Mohabbatein. Newcomer Anushka Sharma is playing opposite to Shahrukh Khan and Vinay Pathak, Anupam Kher and Farida Jalal are in key roles. Yashraj Films launched the first song promo "haule Haule' at the birthday of King Khan on 2nd november. Movie is expected to Release on December 12, 2008.
